Like to let all my friends and family know that I have decided to go into the ministry with the Methodist Church. My charge is to the Grandview Methodist Church in Hattiesburg. I have just finished the Local Pastor Licensing School at Camp Wesley Pines close to Brookhaven, MS.

I meet a lot of good people, that I am honored to call friends. It was a seven day school. We all were ready to go home at the end of the seven days but I am sure, like myself, all have missed some of the students we had the pleasure to meet.

Moving to the country

Since our daughter Vicki got married in December 07, we have closed the studio in Sandersville, MS. We are currently working out of our home. If you are interested in us doing your wedding let us know. Our phone number is 601-433-9826.

Vicki is now living in Slidell, LA with her husband Charles. She is pursuing photography in Slidell. We continue to be dedicated to the wedding business and our wounderful clients.

We also continue to photograph as a team. My wife Mary Jean is the co-ordinater, Vicki and I are the photographers. We cover all our weddings this way.

4th of July 2007

This year for the 4th of July, I decided that I would have a gathering. The McLaurin family hasn't had a family reunion in a long time. Vicki is getting married in Dec. 2007. MJ's family hasn't been to my house. So we endeavored to do this 4th of July picnic. However, It rained, and rained, and rained, sooooo we moved inside and set up a long table in the house that 30 people could sit around. Enjoyable but tight.

Belle's Birthday

We celebrated my granddaugthers, Belle's, birthday by joining her and her family at the New Orleans Zoo. I think see had a great time. Many of the adults like wise enjoyed themselves on the rope course and crawling thru the jungle gyms. My favorite spot was the Elephants. Happy 8'th Birthday, Belle.
